From Manual Work to a Better Way of Working: Blessed Hope Academy’s Journey with RISE
Blessed Hope Academy was looking for a better way to manage its accounting and communicate with parents. Before using RISE, the school relied heavily on Excel for accounting and WhatsApp for communication.
With RISE, the school has moved away from manual accounting and now has a system that is easier, faster and more suitable for the way the school works.
Making Accounting Easier
One of the biggest improvements for Blessed Hope Academy has been the accounting system. The school previously used Excel to record and manage its finances.
Henry explains: “Like what I said, the use of the accounting system. Yes, the accounting system makes our life very easy.”
He also highlighted how much faster the process has become: “Then it's very, very, very fast. Very, very fast from what we were doing.”
Better Communication with Parents
Before RISE, the school mainly used WhatsApp to communicate with parents. However, not all parents were comfortable using WhatsApp.
The RISE Communicator app gave the school another way to connect with parents.
Henry shared: “So now the use of the app itself, I think it also overrides the use of WhatsApp. Because the app itself says it all.”
A System That Understands Schools
For Blessed Hope Academy, RISE is more than just a system. Henry feels that it works alongside the school and understands its needs.
“It accommodates us, I can put it this way. It accommodates us in such a way that we are in line.”
He added: “You understand our story as a school.”
