New additions to the Rise system
1. School -> Learner data [updated on 14 August 2025]Please note that an additional filter
Learner has been added, to improve the search function of learners.
Currently search can be done by SURNAME, CEMIS NUMBER, CODE.
An update will be done this evening once no users use the system by 15 August,
to include a search function by NAME AND SURNAME.Search by CEMIS NUMBER and CODE will remain in effect too.
It can be viewed under the Grade filter in Learner Data.

A few schools requested this function - and we did. We are excited to share it with you.
Incidents were renamed as
Learner Behaviour Records Transgressions were renamed as Behaviour Benchmarks.
A function for Positive points have been added. Now schools can track positive behaviour with Positive Points,
in addition to tracking negative points. Please see

The Rise Team had an informative webinar on positive discipline in collaboration with Mr Pereira, Principal at Star of the Sea Convent School,
shared on their school's experience of using positive discipline at their school.
